Гёте И.В.
Read Faust, Part I by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (tr. Bayard Taylor) in Russian translation on Самовар — free, no account needed, with the English original beside the text.
Neither column is the original: the book was written in German. The English is Bayard Taylor's translation in the original metres (1870), from Project Gutenberg; the Russian is the translation by Н. А. Холодковский (1878), now in the public domain, with its pre-reform spelling modernised. Each was made from the German, so they differ in detail; both run complete. Swipe right on the text to read them side by side, or tap the EN button on the right.
