Пушкин А.С.
Read this Russian poem in the original on Самовар — free, no account needed, with Charles Edward Turner’s English translation beside the text, and an audiobook to listen along to.
English by Charles Edward Turner (1899), public domain. Swipe right on the text to read it beside the Russian, or tap the EN button on the right. A verse translation follows the sense and the music rather than the line, so the columns run alongside each other rather than matching line for line. A literary translation is not a crib: the English follows the sense and the tone rather than the words, so a line here will rarely answer the Russian beside it one for one.
